• Operate and maintain all waste water treatment facility systems and equipment
• Conduct routine data collection and system analysis to ensure compliance and performance
• Utilize distributed control systems (DCS) to monitor and control facility operations
• Perform equipment repairs and preventative maintenance as needed
• Accurately calculate chemical dosages and flow rates using basic math
• Install and plumb new systems and equipment as assigned
• Operate heavy equipment such as tankers for transporting waste materialsJob Requirements Waste Water Operator Requirements:- 2+ years of experience as a wastewater treatment specialist operator, or chemical operator- Familiarity with city wastewater regulations is a huge plus- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks and working in an industrial setting- Reliable work ethic and willingness to grow in a regulated, high-responsibility environment- Experience drumming chemicals or dealing with chemical coating waste
