Do you want to take ownership of a high-impact project, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders, while influencing the design and operations of COWI’s future Head Office?

Create solutions that enable a better tomorrow
COWI is developing a new head office in Lyngby. As both principal consultant (together with Arkitema) and future tenant, COWI has a unique dual role in this project. In this position, you will represent COWI as tenant, working closely with advisory teams and colleagues across functions, while liaising with the building owner and project consultants. Your work location will be at COWI’s current head office in Lyngby, and you will report to the Senior Vice President, Head of Sustainability, Procurement and Workplace. The role is a 12-month maternity leave cover.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the project on behalf of the tenant, ensuring delivery of the tenant’s roadmap and objectives.

  • Align project direction with COWI’s strategy, requirements, and ambitions.

  • Plan and execute the project efficiently, including resource planning, budgeting, and timeline management.

  • Design, implement, and adapt processes and methodologies relevant to project needs.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating clearly and professionally.

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines.

Your skills. Our team. Together, we design the future
To succeed in this position, you must have excellent relational skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong time management allows you to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently. You adapt processes to project needs and apply critical thinking and problem-solving to overcome challenges. Professional and clear communication is essential to ensure effective stakeholder management throughout every stage of the project.

On top of that you have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in project management within construction, facilities, or complex organizational projects.

  • Strong skills in budgeting, planning, and resource management.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Agile frameworks).

  • Excellent communication skills in Danish and English, both written and verbal.

  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
