This role supports system-wide initiatives by delivering technical solutions across key ERP modules—Finance, HR & Payroll, Student, and Financial Aid. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs, design and develop applications, and ensure smooth deployment and support. This position requires strong programming expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. You’ll work independently and as a mentor, contributing to cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement of our systems and processes.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES / COMPETENCIES:
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and Web Technologies and demonstrated experience (4 years) with object-oriented programming languages and web services, including frameworks and tools such as Python, C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.
- Database and Data Management Expertise with strong working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, UniData, Oracle, and JSON, with the ability to design, query, and optimize data structures.
- Systems Development and Deployment in Agile/DevOps and environments Hands-on experience with software design, development, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Visual Studio and Git, within Agile or DevOps workflows.
- Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Ability to interpret business requirements, troubleshoot system issues, and produce functional solutions with clear technical documentation, while understanding system architecture and enterprise security protocols.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration Skilled in conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences—including end users, stakeholders, and executive leadership—through both written and verbal communication and providing technical support and documentation.
Our office is in downtown Raleigh, NC.
