About The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated frontend engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take ownership of our existing web products and have a significant influence on the development of new features and platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless, high-quality user experience across various interfaces, including trading dashboards, analytics pages, documentation portals, and more. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate design mocks into functional, elegant, and performant UI components, with a focus on accessibility and scalability. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact millions of users worldwide. The role is based in New York City, with the flexibility to work remotely at least part of the time.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Deep understanding of modern client-side React and React Native architectures
  • Experience in creating and maintaining design systems or component libraries
  • Familiarity with blockchain and crypto concepts
  • Strong knowledge of web development best practices, performance optimization, and accessibility standards
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and related web technologies
  • Experience managing large-scale projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to produce high-quality, well-structured code and architecture documentation
  • Desire to stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Swift and Kotlin for mobile development
  • Background in onboarding or growth teams
  • Degree in computer science or related field
  • Passion for unicorns and innovative technology

Responsibilities

  • Consistently develop high-quality, scalable code and comprehensive architecture documentation
  • Lead and manage impactful projects involving multiple engineers with minimal oversight
  • Translate design mockups into functional UI components, ensuring performance and accessibility standards are met
  • Determine when to create abstractions versus one-off features for optimal code reuse and maintainability
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define feature requirements and deliverables
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to uphold quality standards
  • Stay informed about emerging web development trends and incorporate best practices into projects
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows and tools
