About The Role The Business Analyst role at Momentive Software is a vital position responsible for bridging client needs with innovative software solutions, primarily focusing on Nimble AMS. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their business processes and translate these into system configurations, user stories, and detailed documentation. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and solution architects, to ensure seamless implementation of Nimble AMS, leveraging Salesforce’s point-and-click tools.
The Business Analyst will lead requirement gathering sessions, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and support product deployment projects from initiation to go-live, ensuring high-quality deliverables and excellent customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role entails mentoring junior team members, contributing to process improvements, and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and proactive support. The candidate must be adaptable to evolving project needs and organizational processes while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 6–9 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within a software or SaaS environment
- Prior experience in client-facing roles such as requirements gathering, consulting, configuration, or training
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, including user setup, point‑and‑click configurations, custom fields, permissions, reports, and dashboards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Certifications: Salesforce Admin Certified, Salesforce App Builder Certified, or other Business Analyst related certifications (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaboratively within a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their business processes and demonstrate how Nimble AMS supports their needs
- Complete base product configurations in Nimble AMS utilizing Salesforce’s point‑and‑click tools
- Articulate system functionalities and project tasks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and stakeholder alignment efforts to document business requirements, user stories, and process flows
- Manage complex product deployment projects with minimal supervision, ensuring timely delivery
- Advise clients on process enhancements aligned with Nimble AMS best practices and develop configurable solutions
- Perform in-depth data and process analysis to support implementation strategies and recommendations
- Support product testing to ensure customer requirements are met and facilitate end-to-end project support including discovery, training, and go-live activities
- Maintain project scope clarity and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle
- Serve as a subject matter expert during client engagements and team meetings, mentoring peers and contributing to process improvements
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and proactive engagement
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and solution architects to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and support testing efforts
- Communicate customer feedback and escalate scope, budget, or timeline changes promptly to project leadership
- Stay updated on Nimble AMS and Salesforce system releases and updates
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to hiring and onboarding processes, and support organizational goals
- Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational success
