About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Navista – Data & Advanced Analytics team. In this pivotal role, you will support the growth and development of the Navista Application Suite and the Integrated Oncology Network (IoN). Your primary responsibility will be to work cross-functionally with various teams to analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models, and generate actionable insights that influence strategic decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to healthcare innovation by empowering oncology practices with data-driven solutions that facilitate patient-centered cancer care.
The Senior Data Analyst will be instrumental in analyzing revenue cycle management, practice performance metrics, and operational insights. You will lead analytical projects, recommend improvements, and mentor junior team members. Your expertise will help optimize processes, improve financial and operational outcomes, and support the company’s mission to enable community oncology practices to thrive in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered
- 8-12 years of professional experience in data analytics or business intelligence
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data modeling
- Experience in healthcare analytics, including oncology data and revenue cycle management (RCM)
- Knowledge of value-based care models and healthcare industry standards
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead large-scale projects independently and collaboratively
- Experience with predictive modeling, advanced analytics, and data cleaning techniques
- Prior experience in oncology or healthcare data is preferred
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of business processes, systems, data, and analytical tools to explore issues and identify root causes
- Monitor system performance to ensure processes are executing correctly and address issues proactively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, recommend, and implement data-driven solutions
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to validate hypotheses and uncover insights
- Utilize advanced analytics methodologies to model, analyze, and clean datasets for accurate reporting
- Summarize and communicate the financial and operational impacts of analytical recommendations
- Partner with Data Engineers to develop data models supporting analysis and reporting needs
- Lead complex analytics projects that deliver measurable ROI and strategic value
- Guide and mentor junior colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Independently determine methodologies for new projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery
- Participate in the development of policies, procedures, and best practices for analytics initiatives
- Recommend new practices, processes, and metrics to enhance analytical capabilities
