Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.Required:

  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
  • Experience in software development (4-7 years);
  • Experience developing large and complex systems through the SDLC, including multi-project environments;
  • Experience researching, analyzing, and developing solution designs for performance, scalability, and security;
  • Experience and knowledge of network and system development and deployment;
  • Experience working with OData and OData REST APIs;
  • Experience creating and monitoring continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines;
  • Experience performing code reviews to ensure compliance with identified standards of practice;
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred:

  • Experience with State of Florida financial systems (FLAIR, PALM) and government accounting;
  • Experience with Windows administration, Active Directory, and IIS administration;
  • Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases;
  • Experience with .Net Framework, .Net Core, .Net Standard, C#, MVC, Shell Scripting, YAML, XML, JavaScript Libraries (VB.Net, ASP.Net);
  • Experience with tools/utilities: Azure AD Federation Services, Auth0, OAuth 2.0, Telerik Kendo UI, Bootstrap, Toad for Oracle, MS Build Tools, Azure DevOps, Jira, SQL Server Reporting Services, Visual Studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions for agency business systems and large projects;
  • Lead technical teams and mentor junior developers;
  • Ensure code quality through reviews and CI/CD processes;
  • Design, refine, and implement secure, high-performance solutions;
  • Collaborate as a project team member to deliver on stakeholder requirements;
  • Maintain and enhance systems throughout the SDLC;
  • Administer systems and networks and support implementation of complex technical environments.
