- Assist healthcare providers at Minnesota Rehabilitation Medicine Associates in Minneapolis, MN, US, with documentation and administrative tasks during patient encounters
- Ensure accurate and efficient documentation of patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments in electronic health records (EHR)
- Transcribe physician orders, prescriptions, and other medical instructions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and precise documentation
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Aid in coding and billing processes to guarantee accurate reimbursement
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role is highly preferred
- Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support is essential for this position
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems is required.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail are crucial attributes
- Ability to multitask effectively and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs is a must
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred
