Title : Cabin Technology (IFE) Data Analyst

Location : DFW, TX (near dfw airport)

Workplace type : Fully onsite (M-F regular 40 hour work week)

Type : Contract

Pay : $55-60/hour on w2

Length : 9 months

Screenings : full panel drug and background once hired

IV process: 2 rounds

Qualifications:

  • Min 5 years of related experience
  • Ability to evaluate combined data sources, build scorecards and identify trends
  • Ability to develop workflows for data validation and reporting, automate analytics tasks, and create dashboards for clear insights
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS),
  • Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Product/Process Management – Ability to gather and document technical requirements, develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables for product deployment and enhancement.
  • Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) Performance Monitoring
  • Communication and Collaboration – the ability to foster open dialogue and cross-functional teamwork to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Sharepoint and Word.
  • Basic understanding of scripting languages such as javascript, python, groovy scripting, ruby etc.
  • Good understanding of Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with Java and Linux
  • Basic understanding of J2EE, SQL, Oracle Database
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle and Agile

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and document technical requirements for product enhancements
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and deliverables
  • Develops a strong understanding of the application and domain to perform hands-on testing of the applications/services from a technical standpoint including non-functional aspects such as load, response time, end-to-end connectivity, availability, security etc.
  • Identifies, creates, executes, and manages test plan and test cases by evaluating functional and non-functional requirements
  • Whenever possible, creates test automation based on functional and non-functional requirements
  • Manages the status of defects/enhancements in applicable change management systems or excel and provide updates to the team on a regular basis
  • Helps troubleshoot issues that arise during project lifecycle and operations
  • Participates in meetings with the business teams, and vendors as applicable, to discuss requirements, design and testing updates
  • Creates metrics/reports to capture test progress for projects and releases
  • Handles testing efforts for multiple projects/releases concurrently
  • Proactively identifies ways to improve testing processes and techniques
  • Builds strong and sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifies quality risks and issues that impacts project deliveries
