Role Overview: The Manager, Third-Party Liability and Subrogation Operations, is responsible for activities related to TPL data processing and maintenance and subrogation operations for the Enterprise. This includes accountability to ensure current operations are compliant with federal, state, and contractual requirements, as well as fulfilling key metrics and SLAs by line of business.Work Arrangement:

  • Remote- Associate can work remotely anywhere in the United States

Responsibilities:

  • Works with Subrogation and TPL identification vendors to ensure requirements regarding subrogation case management and TPL data processing for the Enterprise are compliant with all federal, state, and contractual requirements, as well as fulfilling key metrics and SLAs by line of business
  • Leads subrogation specialists and department analysts to ensure that they deliver subpoena requests that are compliant with federal, state, and contractual requirements, as well as fulfilling key metrics and SLAs by line of business
  • Identifies and resolves operational issues using well-defined/documented processes, expertise, and judgment
  • Keeps abreast of new developments in area(s) of responsibility and ensures timely communication with team
  • Compiles enterprise-wide dashboard report, reporting key metrics on staff performance and inventory to management and key stakeholders
  • Works collaboratively with the entire team for the implementation of new business opportunities and our vendor services
  • Creates or modifies TPL and Subrogation departmental policies, On-Line Help, and desktop procedures as necessary
  • Contribute to process improvement solutions for further automation of TPL processes to enhance productivity and performance
  • Trends issues across the enterprise and identify workable solutions that will improve day-to-day business operations
  • Works with Work Force Management to ensure staffing allocations are managed and assigned based upon production and SLAs
  • Recruit, develop, and motivate staff. Continuously improve skill knowledge, and staff capabilities

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 + years of experience in a Managed Care operations role
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to measure operating productivity. Vendor Management skills, preferably in TPL or subrogation, are necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and Access). Strong knowledge of Facets
