Business Systems Analyst / QA Tester
A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst / QA Tester to support critical regulatory, technology, and business initiatives. This role plays a key part in requirements analysis, test planning and execution, defect management, and cross-functional coordination across high-visibility enterprise projects.
About the Opportunity:

Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite in Pensacola, FL or Vienna, VA (increases to 3 days per week onsite starting in April)

Responsibilities:

Eliciting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional specifications

Developing test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for system and UAT testing

Executing test cases, tracking defects, and collaborating with technology teams to ensure timely resolution

Conducting root cause analysis and assessing business and technical impacts

Coordinating with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment with business needs
Qualifications:

5-7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, QA Analyst, or related role

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

Strong experience in system testing and UAT, including test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (test case management, work item tracking, release coordination)

Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time-management and organizational skills
