A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst / QA Tester to support critical regulatory, technology, and business initiatives. This role plays a key part in requirements analysis, test planning and execution, defect management, and cross-functional coordination across high-visibility enterprise projects.

About the Opportunity:

  • Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite in Pensacola, FL or Vienna, VA (increases to 3 days per week onsite starting in April)

  • Shift: Standard business hours

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Eliciting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional specifications

  • Developing test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for system and UAT testing

  • Executing test cases, tracking defects, and collaborating with technology teams to ensure timely resolution

  • Conducting root cause analysis and assessing business and technical impacts

  • Coordinating with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure alignment with business needs

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, QA Analyst, or related role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Strong experience in system testing and UAT, including test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management

  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (test case management, work item tracking, release coordination)

  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time-management and organizational skills

Desired Skills:

  • Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries

  • Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, or risk frameworks

  • Experience working with change management principles or process improvement initiatives

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills
