About The Role We are seeking an experienced HR Data Analyst to join ORIONYX ENGINEERING LTD. This remote position is strictly available to candidates based within the United States. As an HR Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing and interpreting HR data to support strategic decision-making, enhance HR processes, and improve employee engagement. You will collaborate closely with HR professionals and management teams to provide valuable insights that influence organizational effectiveness. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing HR data integrity, developing comprehensive reports, and facilitating data-driven strategies across the organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your analytical skills within a dynamic engineering environment, contributing to the company’s growth and success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role within an HR department, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and present insights clearly.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to create engaging dashboards and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, and maintain HR data from various sources including HRIS, payroll systems, and performance management tools, ensuring data integrity through regular audits and validation.
  • Analyze HR metrics such as recruitment, retention, employee performance, and engagement levels to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards for HR leadership and management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Conduct workforce planning analyses to support staffing decisions and organizational development initiatives.
  • Analyze turnover rates, demographic data, and employee satisfaction surveys to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and monitor key HR performance indicators to optimize recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development processes.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to support initiatives such as diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and training programs.
  • Provide analytical support for compensation and benefits analysis to ensure offerings remain competitive.
  • Create intuitive data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing compliance reports related to labor laws, EEO regulations, and other legal requirements, staying updated on relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance HR data processes and reporting capabilities, advocating for a data-driven decision-making culture within the organization.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff on data analysis tools and methodologies, acting as a resource for data-related inquiries.
