About The Role
The Data & Reporting Analyst is a vital member of our team, responsible for supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency through comprehensive data analysis and reporting. This role involves working closely with various business units to understand their reporting needs, developing and maintaining accurate reports, and transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights. The analyst will ensure the reliability and accuracy of reporting solutions, facilitate requirements gathering sessions, and collaborate with system owners to enhance data processes. Additionally, training users and team members on reporting tools and best practices is a key aspect of this position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach to system and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis and reporting
- At least 1 year of SQL experience
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reporting solutions following internal standards and best practices by collecting, validating, interpreting, and organizing data into meaningful reports for designated client groups
- Maintain and enhance the reliability, efficiency, and functionality of existing reports
- Facilitate team request intake sessions to gather reporting requirements and prioritize projects accordingly
- Analyze data issues and recommend system and process improvements to ensure data quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with system owners to improve upstream data processes and workflows
- Train users and team members on reporting tools, data interpretation, and best practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals
