About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst specializing in Business Process Mapping to join our team remotely. This role is pivotal in supporting service delivery and assurance operations within the telecommunications industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing, analyzing, and optimizing business processes to facilitate system enhancements and automation initiatives. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, system analysts, and development teams, to translate operational workflows into clear system requirements. The role involves developing comprehensive process maps, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction. The Business Analyst will also support change management efforts, ensuring seamless implementation of process improvements and automation projects. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience supporting OSS/BSS systems or CRM/workforce management platforms in telecom
  • Strong knowledge of data flow mapping, system interoperability, and integration dependencies
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
  • Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Process Improvement (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) are preferred
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio or similar

Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to accurately capture current and future state processes
  • Develop detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and comprehensive documentation to support systems requirements and automation efforts
  • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and dependencies that impact operational efficiency and customer experience
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, System Analysts, and Development teams to ensure alignment of business requirements with technical capabilities
  • Define data flows and system interoperability requirements based on process insights
  • Translate business processes into functional and non-functional system requirements
  • Support the creation of business cases for automation opportunities, including benefits and performance metrics
  • Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and validation sessions with operational teams to verify process accuracy and feasibility
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation repositories and ensure adherence to process governance standards
  • Partner with Change Management teams to communicate process updates and support implementation efforts
  • Maintain high standards of documentation quality, version control, and change management
  • Gather, analyze, and document end-to-end system requirements, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the project lifecycle
