  • Engage in detailed planning to optimize resource allocation and meet production targets.
  • Analyze data to enhance decision-making, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
  • Frequently visit and actively engage on the plant floor to monitor and address real-time production needs.
  • Handle interruptions gracefully and manage tight deadlines without compromising quality or safety.
  • Travel to the plant in Cedar Springs, GA approximately 25% of the time. Both flying and driving may be necessary, depending on the situation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred. Alternatively, equivalent experience in a similar role will be considered.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate a team.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Willingness and ability to spend considerable time on the plant floor.
  • Experience with Concur for booking travel is a plus.
  • Understanding of logistics is beneficial.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $71,000 – $86,000 annually.
  • Profit Sharing: Entitlement to a profit-sharing program where 80% goes to a 401(k) and 20% in cash. In recent years, this has equated to around $28,000.
  • Bonus: Based on Return on Assets, paid out half in February and half in December. Historically, this bonus has ranged between 28-30%, roughly translating to about $24,000.
