Lead Cadworx Piping Designer
We are seeking a Lead Cadworx Piping Designer for assignment. The selected candidate will provide direction and coordinate the work of sub-leads and piping designers to ensure project execution with high design quality.Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm** This position requires 5+ years experience leading a team, managing budgets, making estimates to complete project scope, etc. **Candidates can work a Hybrid Schedule in one of the following locations:

Responsibilities – Will be working with an engineering design team on high-tech industrial manufacturing facility projects- Manage delivery schedule including escalation to project managers when schedule is at jeopardy- Support piping design team and facilitate resolution of design challenges- Develop resource loaders to predict budget burn rate and overall estimate to complete work- Coordinate design with other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc.) to ensure success of project- Position may also require field support activities on client site including site walksQualifications – 15+ years experience in the layout of process and mechanical equipment and associated piping design- 5+ years experience leading a team, managing budgets, making estimates to complete project scope, etc.- Experience developing resource loaders, managing teams to delivery schedules, and facilitating resolution of design challenges- Proficient with Cadworx and Navisworks
