About the Opportunity:

This Robotic Process Automation Specialist role supports the development, operation, maintenance, and improvement of automation systems, focusing on robotic process automation (RPA) and DevOps practices. The position bridges development and operations, contributing to the design, coding, testing, deployment, and continuous support of automation workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain automation systems, ensuring high performance and reliability in production bots and environments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and operational issues, conducting root cause analyses and implementing preventative measures.

• Design, code, and test automation workflows and scripts to meet business requirements and adhere to architectural standards.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Architects to integrate automation solutions into the IT ecosystem.

• Track and report on system performance metrics, identifying trends and improvement areas.

• Document development processes, system configurations, and operational workflows.

• Identify opportunities for optimization and automation as part of process improvement initiatives.

• Provide subject matter expertise for automation tools and technologies, offering technical guidance and support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Five or more years of experience in development, operations, or technical support in RPA and Automation technologies.

• Proficient in automation tools and technologies, including RPA platforms such as Automation Anywhere.

• Experience in development (coding, testing) and operations (monitoring, troubleshooting) within automation systems.

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks or similar incident and change management processes.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their automation capabilities preferred.

• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) for automation and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git) for deploying and managing automation pipelines.

• Experience designing and implementing automation workflows.

• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical or operational issues.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $88,700 — 126,940

• This salary range reflects a national average. Actual range may vary based on location. Specific states may have ranges up to 10 percent lower than the minimum and 12 percent higher than the maximum.
