Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client inColumbus, OH. Candidates must have strong expertise in Python programming and ArcGIS for geospatial analysis and digital imagery workflows.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain geospatial datasets using Python scripting and ArcGIS tools for spatial analysis and visualization.
  • Manage and update spatial databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across multiple platforms.
  • Process and analyze digital imagery to support mapping, modeling, and decision-making activities.
  • Troubleshoot GIS applications and workflows, resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Integrate geospatial data with enterprise systems, enabling efficient data sharing and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver GIS solutions tailored to project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in GIS analysis, digital imagery processing, and spatial data management.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for geospatial automation and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with ArcGIS and database management systems for large-scale geospatial projects.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour
