About The Role The Lead Data Analyst at Parachute Health plays a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. This position involves leading complex, cross-functional analytical projects that directly influence strategic business initiatives and product development. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering actionable insights, developing analytical frameworks, and mentoring a team of data analysts. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches. The Lead Data Analyst will collaborate closely with executive leadership and various stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and innovation, fostering a data-driven culture within the company. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related analytical roles with a track record of delivering high-impact insights
  • At least 1 year in senior-level roles with leadership and cross-functional responsibilities
  • Experience working with modern data stacks and cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar
  • Expertise in SQL and data analysis, with strong proficiency in Python for statistical analysis
  • Advanced experience with BI tools like Looker, including LookML, dashboard creation, and visualization best practices
  • Knowledge of statistical methods, A/B testing, experimentation design, and causal inference
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and collaboration with analytics engineers on data infrastructure
  • Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, or advanced analytics is a plus
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and lead analytical initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear analytical approaches
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex analyses into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions through data insights

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, cross-functional analyses that directly inform strategic business decisions and product development
  • Manage end-to-end analytical projects from problem definition to insight delivery and impact assessment
  • Design and implement analytical frameworks, metrics, and dashboards that promote self-service insights across the organization
  • Establish and uphold standards for analytical rigor, documentation, and best practices
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches with clear methodologies
  • Lead high-complexity initiatives spanning multiple teams and business domains, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
  • Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Mentor and develop data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities where data can enhance efficiency, growth, and overall business impact
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment by integrating analytical insights with broader business strategies
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, measurement, and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization
  • Encourage knowledge sharing, continuous feedback, and collaboration across teams to drive innovation
