Requirements

Must have:

– A minimum of 8 years of experience in testing enterprise mobile applications. – Proficiency in both manual testing and test automation across Android, iOS, and Roku platforms. – Familiarity with Smoke, Functional, Regression, Integration, and Component testing techniques. – Ability to identify risks and issues within applications. – Experience and understanding of Agile software development and testing processes. – Familiarity with Jira, Jenkins, Git, and other continuous integration tools (such as Concourse or Bamboo). – Independent execution of automation for iOS, Android, and Roku platforms is preferred. – Experience with automation frameworks like Appium or Selenium, and programming languages including Java and Python is desirable. – Knowledge of Mobile Cloud testing and device farm testing (e.g., BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm). – Experience with network traffic capture tools, such as Charles, Postman, and Wireshark. – A genuine passion for testing, development, and design.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the development team and automation testers to ensure quality standards are met. – Work with development teams to plan, implement, and monitor component testing activities. – Conduct effective failure analysis and consistently report testing status to the team and leadership. – Act as a leading member of our agile team, driving consistent testing practices. – Ensure the engineering team delivers a quality product that meets the defined acceptance criteria. – Coach and mentor other Quality Assurance team members to enhance effective testing practices. – Follow agile methodologies, including running daily scrums, planning sessions, grooming, and sprint retrospectives. – Support test planning, manual and automated test case creation, as well as test execution. – Analyze results from both manual and automated test scenarios.
