Requirements

Must have:

### We require formal education in machine learning, covering topics such as dimensionality reduction, clustering, embeddings, and sequence classification algorithms. You should have experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers. Familiarity with Natural Language Processing techniques and libraries, including spaCy, word2vec, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Flair, and BERT, is essential. Furthermore, practical knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and benchmarking with frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex is expected. A solid background in Python is necessary, along with an understanding of data modeling principles and complex data structures. Proficiency in both relational and NoSQL databases, as well as vector storage solutions such as Postgres and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, is vital. Experience with Scala, Spark, Ray, or other distributed computing systems is highly preferred. Additionally, knowledge of API development, containerization, and machine learning deployment is advantageous, as is experience with ML Ops or AI Ops.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will develop and implement applications based on large language models specifically designed for our internal legal team. You’ll fine-tune and deploy these models to improve their efficiency in processing legal texts. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating and maintaining our data assets and training/evaluation data sets, alongside designing and constructing pipelines for preprocessing, annotating, and managing legal document datasets. You’ll collaborate closely with legal experts to comprehend their requirements and ensure our models align with specific domain needs. Conducting experiments and assessing model performance will be key to fostering ongoing improvements. You will work together with other technical personnel and team members to finalize requirements, translating moderately complex product specifications into effective software designs. Additionally, you will implement development methodologies, coding best practices, and code reviews suited for production settings. ###
