Marketing Program Manager, Workflow & Operations
The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for driving marketing initiatives from start to finish, maximizing campaign outcomes by leading cross-functional integration, identification of efficiencies, and data-focused decision making. This role is actively involved in supporting the full end-to-end program lifecycle from strategy through campaign creation, execution, and optimization.
Job Details:
Contract: Initial 6 months with possibility for extension or conversion
Hourly Rate Range: $50-64/hr
Work Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days in office
🔑 Core Responsibilities
Work Planning and Management:
- Own the management of quarterly planning cycles, driving the process by facilitating prioritization and goal setting discussions.
- Navigate constraints across time, effort, and resources, making recommendations based on business needs and capacity.
- Facilitate ongoing backlog refinements and ensure strategies are aligned with overall department strategy.
- Guide the sequencing of work and milestones through the end-to-end process.
- Manage project plans, communication, and collaboration with all partners.
- Run status meetings and communicate project status and issues regularly to stakeholders.
Cross-functional Partnership and Efficiency:
- Work very closely with Creative Agency Managers, partnering with marketing and strategy.
- Maintain key strategic and execution partnerships with Marketing, Strategy, Public Site, Channels, Creative, and Analytics to ensure alignment and collaborative work.
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and related project issues.
- Contribute to ongoing process and operations improvements and share accountability for campaign success as measured against OKRs.
- Lead project post-mortems and circulate project learnings to apply to future campaigns.
- Proactively foster communication between internal and external project stakeholders and influence key decisions.
🎯 Qualifications and Skills
Required Skills:
- 8-10 years of Project Management / Program Management experience in a cross-functional environment.
- Experience utilizing various workflow tools, with Workfront or equivalent required.
- Experience in Marketing (agency or internal) and strong Project Management experience.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across levels and functions.
- Comfortable leading meetings, expertly managing meeting efficiency, facilitating healthy debate, and driving discussion outcomes.
- Working in a cross-functional environment.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Financial Services experience would be great.
- Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and compliance processes and requirements.
- Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.
- Jira experience is preferable, but not required.
