Graphic Designer
Position Overview
The UI/UX Designer creates intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing digital experiences. This role blends user research, interaction design, and visual design to build products that are easy to use, aligned with user needs, and consistent with modern design standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. User Research & Analysis
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability tests, and competitive analysis.
- Identify user needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns.
- Translate research findings into insights that guide design decisions.
2. Wireframing & Prototyping
- Create wireframes, low-fidelity sketches, and high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile products.
- Develop user flows, journey maps, and interaction patterns.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, testing, and stakeholder input.
3. UI Design & Visual Systems
- Design visually appealing interfaces that follow modern design principles.
- Create layout compositions, typography systems, iconography, and color palettes.
- Build responsive designs for desktop, mobile, and tablet.
- Contribute to or maintain design systems and reusable component libraries.
4. Collaboration with Developers
- Prepare design specifications, assets, and guidelines for handoff.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation.
- Review builds, identify discrepancies, and suggest improvements.
5. Usability Testing & Iteration
- Plan and conduct usability tests to validate design choices.
- Analyze results, identify UX issues, and propose improvements.
- Continuously iterate and refine user experiences based on data and feedback.
6. Documentation & Communication
- Maintain clear documentation of design decisions, workflows, and component usage.
- Present designs, rationales, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on UI/UX trends, tools, best practices, and accessibility standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and human-centered design.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI mockups.
- Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS) is an asset.
- Strong communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
