About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead in AI/ML to assume a pivotal role in deploying and operationalizing machine learning models and AI solutions within the healthcare domain. This leadership position involves guiding a team of ML engineers in building scalable, high-performance AI systems that address real-world healthcare challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, data scientists, and platform engineers—to translate complex business requirements into innovative AI applications. Your expertise will drive the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge NLP, Generative AI, and Agentic AI systems, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives. As a mentor and technical strategist, you will foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence, pushing the boundaries of what AI can achieve in healthcare.
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience developing large-scale AI/ML systems on cloud platforms
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML infrastructure, tools, and platforms across the full stack
- 4+ years of programming experience in Python with strong fundamentals in computer science, distributed systems, and software engineering
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS (GCP preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience building AI agents and solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions utilizing no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms to translate business needs into scalable applications that improve products, workflows, and decision-making processes
- Partner with product managers, data scientists, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals
- Champion best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and system observability
- Lead the full lifecycle of AI/ML initiatives—from problem definition, data exploration, model development, deployment, to monitoring and maintenance
- Define project scope, success metrics, and timelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Manage and mentor a team of ML engineers responsible for deploying models, agents, and prompts into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML technologies, evaluate their applicability, and promote a culture of innovation through experimentation and data-driven decision-making
