Seeking a Salesforce Senior Administrator/Developer certified professional with a strong background in SFDC development, administration & best practices.

  • Troubleshooting & resolving critical issues within our existing SFDC application by establishing & enforcing development & deployment standards to ensure the long-term health & scalability of the Salesforce environment.

  • Mentoring current Salesforce developers & guiding them to follow established standards.

Duration: contract position/through: 06/01/2026

Work location: Columbus, OH (onsite)

**Must be local to the Columbus Metropolitan area**

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for our Salesforce application, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving to resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the current Salesforce application to identify root causes of existing issues and recommend solutions.

  • Establish and document clear, comprehensive development and deployment standards, including but not limited to:

*Code review and quality assurance guidelines

*Naming conventions for custom objects, fields, and code

*Security and data access best practices

  • Develop & implement solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development and administrative processes.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the junior Salesforce developer, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adherence to best practices.

  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality, scalable applications.

  • Stay current with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5yrs of hands-on exp. as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer.

  • Must possess active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect).

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues in a production environment.

  • Expertise in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Visualforce & LWC.

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce administration, including security models, data management, and user management.

  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and agile methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skill Required/Desired Exp:

Architect and build complex business automation using Salesforce Flow-Desired-5yrs

Proven experience with Salesforce DevOps processes and tools for code management and deployment-Required-5yrs

Expertise in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, and LWC-Required-5yrs

Proven Salesforce rescue and incident management experience triaging Sev1/Sev2 issues-Required-5yrs

Automated testing and quality gates-Desired 5yrs

Active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, App Architect)-Required

Preferred:

  • Exp. with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset).

  • Exp. working in a small IT team/group environment.

  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.
