Infrastructure Engineer

Tandym Group is seeking highly skilled, self-motivated Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Hyper-V Clustering and Disaster Recovery in Oak Ridge, TN.

This role is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Hyper-V Clusters, including shared storage, across multiple sites.

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments.

• Implement and manage automated backup and disaster recovery testing using Veeam.

• Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions with NinjaOne and/or ServiceNow.

• Perform basic network tasks, including cable management.

• Collaborate with the Network team to provide hands-on support for switches, firewalls, and access points at the Oak Ridge facilities.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and procedures.

• Provide on-site support, ensuring rapid response to manufacturing needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.

• Proven expertise with Hyper-V Clustering in production environments.

• Ability to configure and deploy Hyper-V environments from scratch.

• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration.

• Working knowledge of network engineering, including cabling and basic switch/router configuration.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent.

• Experience with multi-site infrastructure deployments.

• Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage systems and backup solutions.

• Exposure to ServiceNow for ticket tracking.
