Responsibilities
- Reports to the Manager of Digital Services. Creates dynamic web pages using PHP and MySQL databases, produces measurable results from assigned tasks, troubleshoots/researches when necessary, and completes projects within assigned deadlines.
- Edits web page content.
- Performs daily updates, postings, and resolves issues related to links.
- Develops and implements procedures for collecting, editing, and posting content to WFSU Public Media websites.
- Assists with testing, deploying, and maintaining hardware and software that impact website performance.
- Stays current with evolving industry standards and trends.
- Monitors, troubleshoots, and installs hardware and software for network infrastructure.
- Collaborates with other departments on tasks and provides technical guidance.
- Maintains general website and streaming maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience. (Note: or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to four years.)
- Broad range of knowledge of digital technologies and a keen interest in multimedia.
- Intermediate knowledge in PHP/MYSQL, (Non-Complex) Database Design, or the ability to transfer knowledge from experience in other programming languages.
Preferred Qualifications
It is preferred that a successful candidate have familiarity with HTML and UNIX-based servers, as well as JSON, Python, and XML.

Anticipated Salary Range
$20 per hour.
