What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Handle scheduling and registration functions for patient appointments in a timely manner
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information, securing payment and performing collection efforts
  • Manage order management tasks, ensuring orders match scheduled procedures
  • Collect and verify financial data, determining patient financial responsibility and securing pre-payment
  • Complete pre-certification requirements by obtaining necessary authorizations from insurers

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience
  • Experience in a telephone/call center environment preferred
  • Familiarity with pre-registration and scheduling processes preferred
  • Basic typing ability and proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Completion of a related medical certification program
  • Telephone/call center experience
  • Previous experience in a professional, customer service-driven environment
  • Familiarity with working in a production-driven call center
  • Experience using dual computer monitors
