Embark on a meaningful journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Long-Term Care, where every shift offers the opportunity to impact residents’ lives with compassionate, personalized care. In Lincoln, Nebraska, and across the state’s welcoming communities, you’ll help create safe, dignified days for individuals who deserve respect, comfort, and expert attention. Nebraska’s natural beauty—sunlit prairies, winding rivers, and quiet corners perfect for reflection—offers more than scenery; it provides a backdrop for resilience and renewal. From serene parks along the Platte to charming neighborhoods and accessible cultural hubs, this role blends professional fulfillment with the chance to explore scenic towns and spend weekends enjoying local festivals, family favorites, and outdoor adventures. If you’re seeking a role that pairs clinical growth with a strong sense of purpose, this opportunity is designed for you.

Location benefits extend beyond Lincoln. You’ll experience the appeal of working in Nebraska’s expanding healthcare landscape, with the flexibility to engage in assignments across the U.S. as your career and interests evolve. Our program supports diverse practice settings—from skilled nursing facilities in bustling small towns to serene rural campuses—allowing you to broaden your clinical repertoire while embracing new communities, cuisines, and traditions. Lincoln’s thriving cultural scene, robust dining options, and friendly, midwestern hospitality create a welcoming home base, while the broader travel opportunities invite you to build a dynamic portfolio of long-term care experiences. You’ll gain exposure to different care models, patient populations, and interdisciplinary teams, enriching your professional perspective and expanding your network of mentors and peers.

In this role, you’ll provide essential care to residents in long-term care settings, partnering with registered nurses, physicians, and therapy teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing wounds, assisting with activities of daily living, supporting fall prevention strategies, and identifying changes in residents’ conditions that warrant escalation. You’ll document accurately and communicate clearly with families, guardians, and colleagues to ensure continuity of care. You’ll have opportunities to strengthen clinical skills in geriatric assessment, palliative care principles, and dementia-support strategies, with pathways for continued education and specialty certification. This position is designed for growth: with each assignment, you’ll deepen your understanding of resident-centered care, care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives that promote safety, comfort, and dignity.

We offer highly competitive compensation with a weekly pay range of $1,454 to $1,554, reflecting the value you bring to our teams. You’ll have guaranteed hours of 36.0 per week, ensuring stability as you plan your personal and professional commitments. The role includes a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and extension opportunities that acknowledge your reliability and drive. Our travel-based nursing model is built to support you every step of the way, from orientation to ongoing practice, with a dedicated team ready to assist 24/7 as you move between assignments. We emphasize consistent, transparent communication about compensation, shifts, and benefits, with final details confirmed during the hiring process.

Key to our approach is a supportive work environment and a clear path for advancement. The company is committed to empowering its staff, recognizing that skill growth, mentorship, and leadership development are integral to both personal satisfaction and high-quality patient care. You’ll find resources to expand your clinical competencies, opportunities to mentor newer nurses, and a culture that values your contributions and ideas. Our goal is not only to fill a vacancy but to cultivate long-term relationships where you can progress within long-term care specialties, pursue certifications, and take on roles that broaden your impact—whether in direct patient care, education, or care coordination leadership.

If you’re passionate about enhancing the well-being and independence of residents, ready to explore diverse practice settings, and motivated by a compelling trajectory in long-term care, we want to hear from you. This is your chance to join a company that prioritizes your development, safety, and professional satisfaction while delivering compassionate care to Nebraska communities and beyond. Start date is 12/17/2025, with assignments that span multiple weeks and the potential for extension.
