Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract with a client inNew York, NY. Candidates must have strong expertise in Java backend technologies and modern front-end frameworks like Angular or React.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Full Stack Developer job responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
  • Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces with modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue, along with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) for data modeling and query optimization.
  • Ensure application security, performance, and scalability, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in code reviews and requirement discussions.
  • Manage deployments on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in Java Full Stack development.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
  • Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
