Network Operations Engineer
Requirements
Must have:
– Basic to intermediate understanding of Cisco networking technologies (Catalyst IOS, CATOS, NXOS). – Familiarity with Cisco wireless solutions, LAN controllers, and Cisco Prime Infrastructure. – Experience with Arista networking equipment and management platforms (CVP preferred). – Knowledge of VPN technologies and protocols (IPSec, SSL, etc.). – Capability to troubleshoot Layer 2/3 network issues. – Strong analytical and communication skills. – A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Preferred: – Associate-level certifications such as Cisco CCNA or Arista ACE. – Hands-on lab or internship experience in enterprise networking environments. – Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems. —
Responsibilities:
- Support the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches operating on Catalyst IOS, CATOS, and NXOS. – Maintain Cisco wireless infrastructure, including LAN controllers and Cisco Prime Infrastructure. – Monitor and resolve network performance concerns across both wired and wireless contexts. – Work with senior engineers to manage Arista switches, Arista Access Points, and Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP). – Implement and uphold VPN solutions, including client access and site-to-site configurations. – Engage in network upgrades, migrations, and documentation tasks. – Respond promptly and professionally to network-related incidents and service requests. – Keep accurate network diagrams and inventory records. —

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $55,500 and $66,780. Exact compensation may vary based on various factors, including location, experience, and education.
