About the Opportunity:

The organization is advancing digital engineering and scientific discovery by enabling faster product development through automation, artificial intelligence, data management, and integration of a large network of engineering and R&D applications. The Regional VP, Major Accounts, for North America will lead sales efforts at major accounts, manage high-performing teams, and drive organizational growth through strategic account planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Drive sales at strategic named accounts and achieve quarterly and annual quotas.

• Develop sales strategy and plans for assigned account groups with a $2M to $5M quota per Strategic Account Executive.

• Provide ethical and effective leadership as a mentor and coach.

• Build, grow, and maintain a high-performance team of Strategic Account Executives.

• Develop prospecting strategies and short-term and long-term plans to ensure adequate forecasting and quota attainment, including 30 percent net new logo business and 70 percent account expansion.

• Engage and consult with executives and senior business leaders to influence investment in the organization’s technology.

• Build technical knowledge to support discussions with all customer points of contact.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and internal teams.

• Coordinate activities with other relevant organizations and partners to execute sales strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of 15 years experience in a related sales management position with a record of quota attainment at major accounts.

• Experience hiring and building high-performing teams.

• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.

• Advanced problem-solving skills.

• Ability to build one-on-one relationships with customers and identify business needs.

• Advanced organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced negotiation skills; persuasive and persistent in achieving goals.
