This position works closely with DEQ business units, IT management, peers, and technicians, DIT global administrators, and private industry partners to efficiently and securely implement business and technical requirements that drive DEQ towards a modern and cloud-based ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the agency SharePoint and Teams Sites administrator directly supporting site owners, members, and power users across the DEQ divisions and business units. This includes partnering with environmental program staff to efficiently and securely build out solutions within the integrated suite of tools available within M365.
- Provide on demand and scheduled end user training and support related to M365 tools. Develop detailed technical documentation supporting the effort to expand the capabilities of DEQ business units and other peer technicians and analysts. Mentor junior level technicians and analysts and assist other team members with projects leveraging M365 components. Promote the use of the platform across DEQ divisions and business units in addition to IT groups supporting DEQ.
- Develop and maintain Power Platform solutions to include Power Automate flows and data migration efforts.
- Assign and maintain licenses for M365 products like Power Platform and Power Automate. This includes user group management and administration controlling access to appropriate Power Platform environments.
Integrate Azure based resources with M365 solutions and applications. This includes managing application registrations, web services built in Azure, and authentication services offered through Azure Active Directory.
- Organize and prioritize the support and administration requests as these are increasing in volume and complexity as DEQ adopts these modern technologies.
- Lead the rollout of CoPilot within DEQ and partner with other state agencies, DIT global administrators, and private industry to effectively and efficiently implement AI capabilities for DEQ.
