About the Opportunity:

This organization is a B2B performance marketing agency focused on delivering real revenue for clients. The Vice President, Client Strategy leads the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the organization’s largest client relationships, overseeing a team that manages $10M+ ARR across top-tier portfolios. The role drives client retention, expansion, and measurable business outcomes, while shaping best practices and the organization’s client strategy vision.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of Account Directors and Strategists responsible for growth, retention, and client satisfaction across enterprise portfolios.

• Serve as the strategic partner and advisor to C-suite clients, aligning marketing performance with business impact.

• Develop and implement frameworks for net revenue retention (NRR), balancing retention, upsell, and cross-sell across accounts.

• Own account economics, including forecasting, margin health, renewal negotiations, and profitability optimization.

• Collaborate with Channel VPs to align execution and client outcomes across Paid, SEO/Content, CRO, Performance Creative, and RevOps.

• Build and maintain scalable processes for QBRs, forecasting, risk reviews, and expansion roadmaps across all services.

• Recruit, coach, and develop senior client leaders to enhance commercial and strategic skills.

• Partner with Finance and Operations to forecast growth, report on NRR trends, and deliver actionable insights.

• Codify retention, whitespace planning, and client experience frameworks for the Client Strategy division.

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of experience in client leadership or account strategy roles at performance marketing agencies or B2B SaaS consultancies.

• Proven record of leading multi-channel client teams and owning retention, expansion, and P&L for enterprise portfolios ($5M+).

• Experience designing and operationalizing client success frameworks, including renewals, forecasting, and NRR tracking.

• Background working with CMO, CRO, and VP-level clients in SaaS or technology.

• Strong skills in executive leadership, commercial acumen, strategic operations, cross-functional collaboration, operational rigor, and people development.

• Commitment to client value, collaboration, strategic curiosity, data-driven decision-making, and adaptability.

Compensation:

• Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary + bonus structure

• Annual bonus based on tenure, which scales in total amount over time
