About The Role We are seeking a Temporary Recruiter to join our team on a full-time basis, supporting our mission by sourcing and onboarding qualified candidates for healthcare and administrative roles across our five-state service area. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital cause by developing diverse talent pipelines and ensuring the recruitment process aligns with organizational standards and compliance requirements. Reporting directly to the Director of Recruiting, the successful candidate will perform a variety of functions, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and providing consultative support to hiring managers. The role involves managing candidate relationships, coordinating onboarding activities, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational policies. The temporary nature of this position is designed to support PPNCS’s strategic staffing needs over a six-month period, with a schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week during normal business hours, and compensation ranging from $25 to $30 per hour.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year project management experience
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Previous recruiting experience, particularly within a healthcare environment, is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards related to recruitment and onboarding
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in PPNCS Human Resources objectives, contributing to departmental metrics and goals
- Manage the candidate pipeline by sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates for healthcare and administrative roles
- Conduct interviews, administer assessments, and coordinate tests to ensure candidate suitability
- Maintain accurate and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Collaborate with hiring managers and the recruiting team to streamline recruitment strategies and improve hiring outcomes
- Assess the effectiveness of current recruitment plans and implement innovative strategies to attract diverse talent
- Screen resumes, evaluate prospects, and assist candidates through interview preparation and final offer negotiations
- Support onboarding activities by providing new hires with necessary documentation, credentials, and orientation information
- Track and report on candidate status, onboarding progress, and compliance documentation
- Lead or support departmental projects related to recruitment and staffing initiatives
- Assist in accommodating work adjustments and ensuring compliance with ADA requirements
- Maintain a comprehensive database of candidate records, including active, passive, hired, and terminated employees
- Ensure compliance with all recruitment steps, including position approval, posting, sourcing, interviewing, testing, background checks, and onboarding
- Partner with Human Resources for compliance audits, reviews, and inspections
- Verify licenses, certificates, and credentials required for specific roles
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role
