About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Game Operations Analyst – Trading to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities within our game structures, analyzing member behaviors, and developing strategies to optimize the trading environment. You will work closely with our analytics and game operations teams to detect patterns of abuse such as multi-accounting or sharp disc behaviors and recommend appropriate actions. Your insights will directly influence our trading rules, member experience, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a passion for sports and gaming, and the ability to react swiftly to emerging trends in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely or from our Atlanta office, with a focus on collaborative innovation in the DFS industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, analytics, finance, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory)
• One to three years of experience in daily fantasy sports, sports gaming, or related industries (preferred but not mandatory)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet critical deadlines
• Passion for sports, gaming, and data analysis
• Strong pattern recognition skills and quick reaction to observed trends
• Ability to analyze multiple information streams concurrently and make informed decisions under pressure
• Availability to work nights and weekends aligned with sports schedules
• Proficiency or willingness to learn new software tools, including R, Python, and SQL (preferred but not mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities in PrizePicks games and detect members exploiting these weaknesses
• Review and profile escalated members, providing actionable recommendations for further action
• Conduct analyses on current ruleset structures to optimize member experience and revenue
• Detect coordinated member behaviors such as multi-accounting and sharp disc activities
• Partner with analytics teams to develop and implement advanced trading models, algorithms, and benchmarking tools
• Communicate insights and learnings effectively to the Game Operations team
• Collaborate with Senior Trading Optimization Analysts to establish best practices and strategies for key markets
• Continuously monitor industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge
