About the Role:
James Search Group is partnering with this esteemed financial institution to find a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to apply their data skills in a dynamic banking environment. You’ll work on data analysis, visualization, and reporting to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
- Develop reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI/Tableau.
- Assist in building data models to support business decision-making.
- Work cross-functionally with teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy while maintaining compliance with banking regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 2-5 years in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and one or more analytics tools (Python, R, Power BI, Tableau).
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data sets and generate meaningful insights.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Communication: Ability to translate data findings into actionable business recommendations.
