Job Title: Java Full-Stack Developer

Location: Saint Paul, MN (2 3 days/week onsite)

Duration: Full-Time position

Position Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Java Developer to design, build, and support high-quality applications within a modern technology environment.
• This role involves hands-on development with a strong focus on application architecture, performance, security, and maintainability.
• You will collaborate with business partners, clients, and technical teams to enhance existing systems and deliver new features that align with key business priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Data JPA.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring overall application stability.
• Improve architecture, code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and development processes.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience in Java full-stack development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Frameworks, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of REST services, APIs, and backend integrations.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD tools, and modern deployment practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator with strong teamwork and customer service skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building and consuming REST APIs (Kong experience is a plus).
• Cloud experience with AWS, including Kubernetes, Secrets Manager, etc.
• Exposure to JSF/PrimeFaces and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience with Hibernate, Gradle, and advanced GitHub workflows.
• Background in Insurance or Financial Billing/Accounting domains.
