We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong healthcare experience and deep expertise in Databricks, AWS, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks. The ideal candidate will design and build robust data pipelines, support cloud data engineering initiatives, and work closely with business and technology teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong healthcare industry experience (payer/provider/clinical/claims data).
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for data analysis, modeling, and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS native services for data engineering workloads.
  • Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks Workspace and PySpark.
  • Experience with job orchestration using Databricks workflows.
  • Proficiency in implementing Databricks Medallion Architecture for scalable data solutions.
  • Experience developing data engineering solutions on Databricks using AWS (or similar cloud platforms).
  • Experience with Data Vault 2.0–based architectures is a plus (not mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience with data migration projects is preferred (not mandatory).

Work Environment

  • Must be able to work onsite 4 days per week at the client location in Eagan, MN.
  • Collaborative environment with cross-functional healthcare and data engineering teams.
