Senior Commercial Real Estate Property Accountant

Job Description We are actively recruiting for a Senior Commercial Real Estate Property Accountant for our client in Metro Atlanta. This is a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits and upward mobility.Duties include:

• Oversee daily accounting activities including A/R, A/P and Cash Flow for all properties

• Setup accounting for new properties

• Process management fees and expense reimbursements

• Create annual budgets for each property under management

• Prepare and manage monthly financial reporting for a portfolio of properties under management

• Monthly closing of books in accrual based accounting

• Account reconciliation and analysis

• Handle and prepare complex journal entries (acquisition, refinancing and disposition)

• Prepare 1099 list for tax accountant

• Annual year-end audits (prepare schedules for properties)

Reqruiements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
• 3+ years experience
• CPA or CPA Candidate is a plus
• a base in public accounting is a plus
