Senior Accountant

Job Description Senior Accountant – Hybrid

• Assist Controller and CFO with accounting and analysis including monthly spend, budgets, A/R reporting, inventory, and cashflow analysis
• Process and review accounting transactions to include banking, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, payroll, and other miscellaneous journal entries
• Review trial balance during close process
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Support external audits, including remediation of audit findings
• Primary back up to Accounts Payable, Cash Posting, and A/R support functions
• Identify and drive process improvements, including documentation of processes and creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboard

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is required, Master’s degree preferred
• CPA or CPA track preferred
• Excellent skills in Excel required
