Akkodis is seeking an ELK Admin for a Contract with a client inSan Jose, CA(Remote). Candidates must have hands-on experience managing production-grade Elasticsearch clusters and optimizing performance across multi-environment setups.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

ELK Admin job responsibilities include:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Elasticsearch clusters across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Monitor cluster health and performance using Kibana, Grafana, and other observability tools.
  • Optimize query and indexing performance through effective mapping strategies, shard allocation, and JVM tuning.
  • Implement and maintain security configurations, including RBAC, SSL/TLS, and audit logging.
  • Manage backup and disaster recovery procedures using snapshot repositories and cross-region strategies.
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing Elasticsearch clusters in production environments.
  • Proven expertise in performance tuning, index lifecycle management, and query optimization.
  • Strong experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and scripting in Python or Bash.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
