Akkodis is seeking a Google Cloud Platform Architect for a Contract with a client inCleveland, OH. You will lead the design of secure cloud architecture, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and implementing preventive controls.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Google Cloud Platform Architect job responsibilities include:

  • Design secure cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on security best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement threat models for Google Cloud Platform services, identifying risks and defining preventive and detective controls.
  • Establish security guardrails and policies as code, ensuring secure usage of Google Cloud Platform services through automation and governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, Operations, and Application Owners to enhance cloud security posture.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to build secure, scalable cloud environments.
  • Apply deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and CSA CCM to guide architecture decisions and ensure compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8-15 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 3 years in Google Cloud Platform security design and architecture.
  • Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform services and the ability to define secure usage requirements, including preventive and detective controls.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and familiarity with security frameworks like NIST and CSA CCM.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour
