Before and After School Group Leader – San Ramon Valley, CAGroup Leader: Before and After School Teacher – Group Leader – San Ramon, CA, USAAlphaBEST: After School is where adventure begins!At AlphaBEST, our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their Group Leader, you’ll lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training.Location: San Ramon Elementary SchoolsSchedule: Must be available Monday – Friday (3 different start times available) -No weekends!Pay & Benefits:

  • $22+/hour (pay is based on education and experience)

An 80% discount off current AlphaBEST program tuition rates for each eligible child in attendance. **(Please ask an HR team member or manager for qualification guidelines)**Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Must have 15 semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited college or university.
  • At least four years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
  • 12 units of courses that cover child growth and development, human growth and development, child, family, and community, or program/curriculum
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency
  • Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations

As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you’ll be trained to do the following:

  • Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
  • Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children’s sense of wonder.
  • Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students’ interests and talents.
  • Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
