ECS is seeking a Project Manager to work remotely .

ECS is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead initiatives under the Web Content Management as a Service ( WCMaaS or WCM ) contract on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Solutions Development Directorate (SDD), Platform and Solutions Division (PSD). The PM role will have a particular focus on the WCM strategic roadmap, customer initiated projects and O&M tasks. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and have the skills to collaborate across stakeholders to maintain a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating programmatic risks and establish robust project plans to support the program and division’s operational objectives .

Job responsibilities include:

• Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple web content and platform management projects from planning/ideation through to deployment/implementation
• Assessing the technical feasibility of proposed use cases by clarifying and analyzing requirements with data architects, SMEs, data engineers, and federal stakeholders
• Developing and managing strong relationships with federal stakeholders to ensure continued progress on identified initiatives
• Resolving blockers and aligning cross-functional teams around project goals and technical requirements
• Facilitating communication of complex technical concepts and project requirements/goals to a diverse audience
• Identifying, developing, and managing project schedules, resources, risks, priorities, and activities
• Overseeing and mentoring junior project team members as needed

Salary Range: $125,000 – $130,000

Required Skills

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• 7 years of related experience managing IT/technology projects
• Experience managing technical and strategy teams in data science, data analytics, and data management
• Proficiency in various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent leadership, team management, and presentation skills

Desired Skills

• Prior professional services or federal consulting experience; experience supporting DHS preferred
• Experience managing proof of concept/proof of value lifecycles
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other industry-related certification
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)
• Experience leading Agile development teams
• Experience building highly scalable platforms, products, or services
