ECS is seeking a Project Manager to work remotely .
ECS is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead initiatives under the Web Content Management as a Service ( WCMaaS or WCM ) contract on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Solutions Development Directorate (SDD), Platform and Solutions Division (PSD). The PM role will have a particular focus on the WCM strategic roadmap, customer initiated projects and O&M tasks. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and have the skills to collaborate across stakeholders to maintain a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating programmatic risks and establish robust project plans to support the program and division’s operational objectives .
Job responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple web content and platform management projects from planning/ideation through to deployment/implementation
- Assessing the technical feasibility of proposed use cases by clarifying and analyzing requirements with data architects, SMEs, data engineers, and federal stakeholders
- Developing and managing strong relationships with federal stakeholders to ensure continued progress on identified initiatives
- Resolving blockers and aligning cross-functional teams around project goals and technical requirements
- Facilitating communication of complex technical concepts and project requirements/goals to a diverse audience
- Identifying, developing, and managing project schedules, resources, risks, priorities, and activities
- Overseeing and mentoring junior project team members as needed
Salary Range: $125,000 – $130,000

Required Skills
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- 7 years of related experience managing IT/technology projects
- Experience managing technical and strategy teams in data science, data analytics, and data management
- Proficiency in various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership, team management, and presentation skills
Desired Skills
- Prior professional services or federal consulting experience; experience supporting DHS preferred
- Experience managing proof of concept/proof of value lifecycles
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other industry-related certification
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)
- Experience leading Agile development teams
- Experience building highly scalable platforms, products, or services
