At Voyage Health we breed winners.Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in the ER.Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to emergencies.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records.Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.Evaluate and implement best practices for emergency care delivery.Educate patients and families on health management and emergency procedures.Manage time effectively to meet patient care demands and departmental goals.Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff.Participate in departmental meetings to discuss patient care strategies.Experience/Qualifications Current RN license in Virginia with BLS and ACLS certification.Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and training.Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.Strong ability to assess and respond to critical situations effectively.Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation practices.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Strong time management skills to meet patient care demands effectively.Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control measures in healthcare.Ability to educate patients and families on health management strategies.Willingness to mentor and assist in training new nursing staff.What’s in it for you?
