Title: Technical Product manager
Location: Hybrid, Riverwoods IL
Duration: 6 monthsRequired Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar) – Minimum 7 years required
- Proficiency in JIRA for requirement management and tracking required
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) – Minimum 7 years required
- Prior experience with the financial services industry is a must for this position
- Education Level — Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is mandatory
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on integration projects, mergers, or platform consolidations
- Engineering degree
- Experience in Agile practices and risk management
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Act as a product owner for observability-related initiatives, focusing on integration of monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms
- Capture and translate business and technical requirements into user stories, epics, and initiatives in JIRA
- Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams
- Drive projects through the full SDLC with a focus on quality, detail, and risk awareness
- Collaborate with development, product, and platform engineering teams to deliver integration outcomes
- Provide oversight of project lifecycle management including planning, tracking, execution, and risk/issue management
- Contribute to risk mitigation efforts, especially in coordination with cybersecurity teams
