An established and growing manufacturer in the aerospace and advanced electronics sector is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead complex process development and continuous improvement initiatives across its high-performance product lines.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, repeatability, and quality compliance (AS9100 or equivalent).
- Design and implement production tooling, jigs, and fixtures supporting precision assembly and machining.
- Provide daily technical support to production teams, resolving process, equipment, or quality-related challenges.
- Partner with Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to drive waste reduction, workflow optimization, and throughput improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Analyze process performance and cost drivers, recommending improvements and automation to increase productivity.
- Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and process documentation improvements.
- Support new product introductions (NPI), ensuring smooth transition from engineering development to full-rate production.
- Develop and manage engineering change requests and orders to ensure accurate and controlled implementation.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to shape long-term manufacturing strategies and capability roadmaps.

🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering within aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated industries.
- Experience with new product introduction (NPI) and process validation.
- Skilled in developing process routings, work instructions, and PFMEAs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in an Operations or Manufacturing Leadership Development Program.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Prior aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with robotics, automation, and CAD tools.
