About The Role We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our platform, ensuring that our products are intuitive, accessible, and delightful to use. You will collaborate closely with product teams, designers, and customers to create high-quality UI components and features that meet the evolving needs of our users. Your expertise will help elevate the overall design standards across our products, improve technical fundamentals in our frontend architecture, and contribute to our UI roadmap. The ideal candidate will be deeply engaged with the latest trends in React and UI development, possess a strong sense of design and user empathy, and be capable of leading initiatives that enhance developer experience and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industry experience in software development, specializing in interactive web applications
  • Proven track record of building, shipping, and supporting feature-rich dashboards or applications
  • Experience owning projects and driving work based on customer impact
  • High-level design and UX sensibility with demonstrated aesthetic judgment
  • Expertise in React, CSS, and TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of backend fundamentals and database concepts
  • Knowledge of accessibility (a11y) patterns, implementation, and education
  • Experience working in small, fast-paced teams with a focus on end-to-end web application development
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a growth mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Bonus: Experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or related industries

Responsibilities

  • Set and uphold high standards for UI and design quality across all product surfaces
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop intuitive and accessible interfaces for upcoming launches
  • Create and document reusable component patterns to enable product engineers to deliver excellent UX efficiently
  • Own and enhance technical fundamentals in frontend architecture, including data loading, syncing, and service integrations
  • Contribute to the UI roadmap, continuously seeking improvements to user experience and developer productivity
  • Provide expert guidance on frontend technical decisions across the company
  • Develop empathy and understanding of customer needs through regular engagement and feedback
  • Prioritize work based on customer impact to drive product and company growth
  • Lead initiatives while supporting and elevating team members, sharing leadership responsibilities
  • Engage with customers directly to gather insights for new product development
  • Assist in recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating future engineering team members
  • Represent the team publicly through blog posts, documentation, and design system contributions
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Radix UI projects and other initiatives
