Human Resources Labor Relations Generalist
Our Client, an Automotive company, is looking for a Human Resources Labor Relations Generalist for their Toledo, OH location.Responsibilities:
- Interpretation and application of contracts and agreements
- Management of compliance and investigatory processes within a union environment
- Facilitation or participation in difficult interactions or situations, focusing on conflict resolution
- Analyzing data and using data to make decisions
- Behaviors of a successful Labor Relations Representative
- Customer focus mindset, always striving to provide the best support to the employees, management, and the union, while ensuring the continued sustainability of Client
- Focus on building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders (management and union) through open and transparent communication
- Openness to the viewpoints of others and taking those viewpoints into account when making business decisions or recommendations
- Attention to detail and consistent follow through
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources with an emphasis in labor relations in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of Human Resources Information System and reporting tools
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment
